Gary Stephen Saldana, went home to be with the Lord on March 17, 2025. He fought the good fight, he finished the race and he kept the faith.

Gary was born in Austin, Texas to Isidro and Connie Saldana on May 15, 1964. He was preceded in death by his father, Isidro Saldana, his nephew Christopher Espinosa, and his daughter Brittany LeMond. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Angie, his step-son Bradley and wife Kaytlin, his daughters, Joy, Mia, and Sophia, his granddaughter Drue, his mother, Connie Saldana, his sister Connie O’Brien and husband Donald, his sister Christina Espinosa and husband Mike, and his brother Isidro “Boy” Saldana and wife Leah.

Although Gary experienced a life altering accident at age 16, he lived a life of determination and did not allow his disability to prevent him from working hard, and holding a high standard for himself and others. He provided well for his family throughout his life and continued to do so as he finished his race.

Gary loved his wife, Angie and his family. He had a tender place in his heart for his girls, Brittany, Joy, Sophia and Mia and a strong desire to be a man that would guide Bradley to become a hard working leader for his family.

Over the last few years, Gary’s desires and understanding of what makes a man shifted focus to the things of God. As he neared the end of his life, he pleaded for all to know, the things that matter are not money, jobs, houses, respect and honor for self, but rather, glorifying God with all that we have and do, His desire is for all who knew him to know, Jesus Christ is all that we need and we cannot do this life apart from 100% surrender to Him.
