Gary Lynn Landrum, 47, of Dayton, died Tuesday, February 23, 2010, at the San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Gary was born June 16, 1962 in Dayton, to parents; Earnest and Louise Croft Landrum and has resided in the Dayton area throughout his life. He was a graduate of the Dayton High School class of 1980, a truck driver for Wade Farms in Dayton, member of the Assembly of God Church, and enjoyed music, playing the guitar, fishing, auto racing, and especially his grandchildren. Mr. Landrum was preceded in death by his grandparents: Pearl and Dorothy Croft and Sharp and Vickie Landrum. He is survived by his sons: Kristopher Landrum and wife Linda of Dayton and Eric Landrum of Dayton, daughter: Holly Landrum of Dayton, grandsons: Jacob Lee Landrum and Preston Michael Burns, parents: Earnest and Louise Landrum of Dayton, sister: Terry Baugh and husband Jimmy of Baytown, four nieces, two great-nieces, other relatives, and friends.
