Gary Lee Stinson

Gary Lee Stinson, 59, of Cleveland, died Friday, March 23, 2012, at his residence. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at the Cleveland City Cemetery with burial following thereafter. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Cleveland. Gary was born October 1, 1952 in Houston, to parents; Rayford A. and Hazel Rylee, a former resident of New Caney, and has resided in Cleveland for the past seven years. He was a graduate of the New Caney High School class of 1971, a retired supervisor in the pipeline industry, and member of The Backyard Cookers. He also enjoyed cook-offs, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his dog Buckwheat. Mr. Stinson was preceded in death by his father: Rayford A. Stinson, and stepfather: Thurley White. He is survived by his sweetheart: Patty Pike of Cleveland, son: Michael Shane Stinson of Splendora, sisters: Patsy Nordan of MS and Sue Sullivan and husband Grady of MS, brothers: Rayford L. Stinson of MS, Don Stinson and wife Cindy of Livingston, Johnnie Stinson and wife Lenette of MS, and Marty White of MS, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
