Gary Jay Butler

Gary Jay Butler, age 76 of Livingston, Texas, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017. He was born July 25, 1940 in Thorndale, Texas to parents Floyce and Daisy Butler who preceded him in death along with his stepfather, Charlie Synatzske; wife, Jennie Butler; brothers, Sonny Butler, Bill Butler and Larry Butler; and grandson, Chad.

Survivors include his sons, Brian Butler and wife Tracey, Larry Butler; daughter, Ginger Butler Partain; sisters, Florence Whooten and husband Richard, June Page and husband Dan; grandchildren, Chase Butler and wife Shannon, Noah Lindsey, Larry J. Butler, II, Sarah Butler, Megan Partain and Michael Ray Partain; great-grandchildren, Ryelynn Butler, Aubrie Butler and Grace Ashworth; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, April 14, 2017 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Morgan Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
