Fred Terry Choate

Fred Terry Choate, age 72 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2016. He was born March 19, 1944 in Houston, Texas to parents Johnny and Carolyn Choate who preceded him in death along with his brothers, James Choate and Paul Choate; daughter, Angel McLaurin; and grandson, Alex Choate.

Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Choate; daughters, Summer Huff and husband Leo, Zeberah Brown; sons, Fred Choate, Jr. and wife Valerie, Kenneth Choate, Tim Choate, Noyce Brown and wife Onie, Robert Brown and Jimmy Brown; sisters, Carolyn Carter and Denise Choate; brother, Mike Choate; grandchildren, Heather Choate, Chris Choate, Kacie Choate, Nathaniel Huff, Evelynn Huff, Cheyene Choate, Brooklynn Brown, Ethy McLaurin, Misty Hilton, Matthew Hilton, Melissa Moore, Christopher Brown, Dakota Brown, J.D. Brown, Alyssa Brown, Courtney Brown and Joseph Rodonski; great-grandchildren, Aurbie Choate, Alexis Oliver, Bailey Oliver, Cayden Oliver, Connor Moore, Kiley Moore and Bently Hilton; numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at 1:15 p.m., Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Houston National Cemetery.
