Franklin D. "Franky" Neuman

Franklin D. “Franky” Neuman, 78 of Morgan, Texas died Saturday, October 14, 2017 at home.

Services for Franky will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 20, 2017 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery, Dayton. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the funeral home.

Franky was born February 1, 1939 in Dayton, Texas to parents, Eric Brighteyes “Lett” Neuman, Sr. and Ada Gertrude Hooper. He attended Dayton schools, graduating from Dayton High School in 1957. He proudly served in the United States Navy on the destroyer, Dennis J Buckley. Franky attended the First Baptist Church in Lakeside Village and was a member of First Baptist Church in Dayton. He also was a member of Tin Can Soldiers and Dayton Masonic Lodge. Franky loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed square dancing and woodworking. He and his late wife Margaret met and married in Dayton and lived many years in Baytown before moving to Morgan a little over 12 years ago.

Franky was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jesse Neuman, Bert Neuman and wife Nell; and E. B. Neuman; sisters, Louise Neuman and Dora Ada Carmichael and husband Preston. He is survived by sons, Lynn “Todd” Neuman and wife Cathey, and Michael “Tracy” Neuman; grandchildren, Michael Tracy Neuman, II, Heather L. Neuman White and husband Cory, Erica Yarbro and husband Colton, Travis Neuman and wife DeeDee, and Trinity Neuman; great grandchildren, Alyssa Neuman, Caley Neuman, Ashton Neuman, Brooklyn White, Paityn White, Chloe White, Brantley White, Micah Yarbro, and Gideon Yarbro; brothers, Larry Neuman and wife Ilene, Mutt Neuman and wife Judy; sisters-in law, Hazel Neuman and Shirley Neuman; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
