Franklin "Butch" Rice

Franklin David “Butch” Rice Jr., age 54, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Thursday, September 23, 2010. He was born in Houston, Texas on August 19, 1956 to Franklin David and Carolyn Rice Sr. Survivors include his loving wife, Brenda Rice; mother, Carolyn Rice; children, Julia Broyles and husband, Kevin, Michael Rice and wife, Amber, Gregory Rice and wife, April; siblings, Robert Rice and wife, Darlene, Jimmy Rice and wife, Becky, Tina Tapp and husband, James, Christopher Rice and wife Carissa, Cindy Manthey and husband, Carl, Sharon Parkman and husband, Jim; grandchildren, Alysa, David, Dayla, Seth, Luke, Zoe, Emma, Courtlynn, and Baby Braxton; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many other cherished family members and treasured friends beyond measure. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 26, 2010, 6:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Pastor Russ Tynan and Pastor Bill Conlee will preside over funeral services being held Monday, September 27, 2010, 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas. The First Baptist Church Deacons will honor him as pallbearers.
