Frank "Pete" Tanner Jr.

Frank P. “Pete” Tanner Jr., age 61, of Dayton, Texas, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at his residence. Pete was born August 28, 1950 in Liberty, Texas to parents Frank P. Tanner Sr. and Loritha Clarice Tanner who preceded him in death. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 24, 2012, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Bro. Byron Reeves will preside over funeral services being held 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 25, 2012 at Rural Shade Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas with interment following at Ryan Cemetery. Pallbearers include Pete Tanner, Sean Jones, Greg Tanner, Marc Tanner, Eddie Findley, and Billy Findley. Survivors include his wife Wanda Gail Tanner; daughter Chanel Tanner and Sean Jones Sons Frank “Pete” Tanner III and Steve Elliott; sister Timmie Tanner and husband Steve brother Bill Tanner and wife Connie; numerous nieces, nephews and other cherished family members and faithful friends.
