Frank Holden was born in Los Angeles, California on December 15, 1946 to parents, James Paul Holden and Betty Jean Coffman Holden. He passed away June 19, 2022, surrounded by his loving family, in Splendora, Texas at the age of 75. Frank served our country in the United States Air Force, and worked as a lab technician in the oilfield industry. He loved hunting and fishing, and in his younger years he enjoyed playing golf. Frank was a member of the St. John of the Cross Catholic Church parish, where he was a 4th degree Knights of Columbus and was a Past Grand Knight. Frank was an active member in the community of Splendora as a Volunteer firefighter, Coach, and even a school bus driver for SISD. Frank loved his family and enjoyed spending time with all of them and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Charles Ray Holden; sister, Becky Liggett. Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Betty Holden; children, Michael (Janet) Holden, Shelly Holden, Brian (Becca)Holden, Kent (Jill) Supancik; brothers, Neal (Sherry)Holden, Mike Holden, Jim (Vicki)Holden, Murray Holden, Clark (Pam)Holden; sister, Lillian (Frank) Covernale; grandchildren, Keelie (Clay)Stephenson, Blaine, Madison, Megan, Bryn, Brayden and Jace Holden, Olivia and Grace Supancik; and numerous nieces and nephews and friends. A Rosary will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at the St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in New Caney TX at 11am and a Memorial Mass will begin at 12:00 noon with Father Michael Applegate officiating. A private Inurnment will be at the Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Knights of Columbus at St. Johns of the Cross Catholic Church.
