January 18, 2014 Willene LaBuff, 73, of Dayton, passed away Friday January 17, 2014 at her home. She was born Frances Willene Smith, August 26 1940 in Coy, Lonoke County, Arkansas, to parents William Anderson Smith and Essie Mae Pruitt Smith. A graveside service for Mrs. LaBuff, will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 20, 2014 at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home. Reverend Mike Blackburn will officiate. Honorary pallbearers will be: Brady Hayes, Matt Fenoglio, Ross Shauberger, Danny Wessels, David Anselmo and Kevin Anselmo. Mrs. LaBuff was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 49 years: Daniel “Dan†LaBuff. Willene was a previous resident of North Shore and had resided in Dayton for 59 years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia. Willene was a member of Trinity Baptist church in Dayton and was a Sunday school teacher for many years. She enjoyed time spending with her family and her beloved German shepherd, Sampson. Mrs. LaBuff is survived by her daughters: Renee’ Anselmo & husband Joe of Crosby and Terry Hayes & husband Tim of Liberty; sister: Bobbie Jean Brown of Fordyce, Arkansas; 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
