Foy Griswold

Foy Douglas Griswold, age 67 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2015. He was born December 3, 1947 in Goose Creek, Texas to parents Foy Lemuel Griswold and Medie Brent Griswold who preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Robin Griswold; daughters, Jamie Griswold and April Akin; son, Clint Griswold and wife Jill; sisters, Melvia Derr and Gloria Howell and husband Vernon Howell; brother, Bobby Griswold and wife Gayle Griswold; grandchildren, Brylee Griswold, Savannah Davis, Philip J. Akin, Shelby, Skylar and Shyann; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Foy graduated high school in 1968. He spent his past time fishing, hunting and watching the Dallas Cowboys. Foy loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter. He also loved to BBQ, grill, and spending time with his favorite dogs, Doc and Reba.

Brother Gene Jones will preside over graveside services held 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Bear Creek Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
