Forest Gene Knott

Forest Gene Knott was born August 4, 1939 in Indianapolis, Indiana to parents, William Knott and Madeline Hall Knott, who preceded him in death. He went to his Heavenly Home to join his beloved wife on December 19, 2024 in The Woodlands, Texas at the age of 85 years. He loved building things and was an excellent carpenter. He also loved the outdoors, working in his garden or fishing. He has been a resident of Cleveland, Texas for almost 50 years. 

Gene is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ann Knott. Survivors include his children, Vickie Hall and husband Mike, Laura Knott Cunningham and husband Junior, Phillip Knott and wife Lillian, Derrick Knott, Douglas Knott and wife Theresa, Daniel Knott and wife Jackie; grandchildren, Christy, Nathan, Paige, Erika, Will, Amber, Autumn, Sarah, Angel, Michaela, Kara, Jonathan, Erin, Heather, Honor, and Aaron; great-grandchildren, Grace, Alaina, Jennings, Vincent, Carter, Casey, Andy, Levi, Camryn, Bryant, Hudson, and Johnathan. 

Visitation will be at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home on Sunday, December 22, 2024 from 5-8pm. Funeral Service will be Monday, December 23, 2024 at 10am with Tommy Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be, Phillip Knott, Derrick Knott, Douglas Knott, Daniel Knott, Mike Hall, and Junior Cunningham.
