Evora L. Niekamp-Dezwaan

Evora L. Niekamp-DeZwaan, age 87, of Whitney, Texas, passed away Friday, September 16, 2011. She was born September 27, 1923 in Ocker, Texas to parents, Hubert and Millie Pelzl who preceded her in death along with her sister, Mabel Schilling; and brothers, Dalton Pelzl and Lee Pelzl. Survivors include her husband, Claude DeZwaan; sons, Donald Niekamp and wife, Judy, Rick Niekamp and wife, Brenda; daughters, Barbara Godejohn, Rose Fowler and husband, Bobby; step-children, Cheryl, Timothy, David, Dianne, and Karen; brother, Alton Pelzl and wife, Kathy; sisters, Ola Mae Wetzel and Mary Boman; grandchildren, Heath Niekamp, Bubba Godejohn, Tracy Godejohn Long, Shannon Godejohn, Debbie Campbell, Bubba Fowler, Alicia Bloch, and Sharon Pruitt; great-grandchildren, Kody Apqar, Austin Apqar, Shayla Godejohn, Karen Wilson, Samathia Studerbant, Page Pruitt, Taylor Pruitt, Jeremy Martin Godejohn, Jake Godejohn, Haley Godejohn, Mackensie BoBo-Burkett, Dustin Campbell, Trevor Bloch, Christopher Bloch, Karley Caye Campbell, Ashley Alexander, and Erika Vickers; great-great-grandchildren, Abby Hudson, and Taylor Rose Alexander, Hunter Alexander, Colton Vickers, Logan Brown, Addison Burkett, and Carter Emerson; numerous nieces, nephews and other cherished family members and faithful friends. The family will welcome visitors on Sunday, September 18, 2011, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Bro. George Hayden will preside over funeral services being held Monday, September 19, 2011, 10:00 a.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel with interment following at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens.
