Everett “Glenn” Strahan, 51, of Dayton died Friday, April 21, 2017 in Houston.
Services for Glenn will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends, 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
Glenn was born March 2, 1966 in Houston, Texas to parents Everett William Strahan and Garnet Harsey Strahan and was a graduate of C.E. King High School, class of 1984. He had been a resident of Dayton for the past 5 years. Glenn had worked as an air condition technician for Carrier, Oxy, and Letsos. He loved to ride his ATV and 4 wheel drive vehicles. He was always helping people, was a very kind soul and a good christian. Most of all he loved his family and protected the women in his life.
He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Amy Honeycutt Strahan; his father, Everett Strahan and wife Sue; his mother, Garnet Harsey Sheffield and husband Sandy; grandmother, Barnelle Harsey; daughter Emily Donette Strahan; step-daughter, Bridgette Walker; step-son, Hagen Kelso; sister, Tina Marie Strahan Owens; other relatives and friends.
