Evelyn Lucille Harding Seaberry, 87, of Dayton, died Thursday, September 17, 2015, at the San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 23, 2015, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with services concluding thereafter. Arrangements are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Evelyn was born October 1, 1927 in Hearne, to parents; Henry Harding and Evelyn Easterwood Harding, a former resident of LaPorte, and has resided in Dayton for the past 30 years. She was a homemaker, member of the Kenefick Civic Club, and Baptist by faith. She also enjoyed ceramics, crafts, reading, and showing dogs. Mrs. Seaberry was preceded in death by her father: Henry W. Harding, mother: Evelyn Harding Hansard, and husband of 31 years: James W. Seaberry, Jr. She is survived by her daughters: Andrea Pardon and husband Curtis of Dayton, Laura Biggs of Galveston, and Marsha Hemphill of Galveston, brother: Henry W. Harding, II and wife Joanne, sisters: Helen Schofield and Harriet Travis, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
