Eva Charlene Vann

Eva Charlene Vann, age 76 of Coldspring, Texas, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017. She was born August 12, 1940 in Soper, Oklahoma to parents John Cecil Mullins and Juanita Christine Mullins. She is preceded in death by her father, John Cecil Mullins; sister, Barbara Lee Atkins; and brothers, Clyde Dean Mullins and Carl William Mullins.

Mrs. Vann graduated from Lee High School. She was a county clerk for San Jacinto County for 22 years. As of June 4th, she would have been married to Leon Vann for 58 years.

Survivors include her husband, Leon Vann; mother, Juanita Christine Mullins, 95 years old; daughters, Theresa Vann Holloway and Ynette Rene Peterson; sister, Shirley Ann Pfeiffer; brothers, Leon Ray Mullins, John Nathan Mullins, Christopher Neil Mullins and David Clint Mullins; grandchildren, Sara Lee Holloway, Christopher Wayne Holloway and Noah Westerfield; great-grandchildren, Mariah Ray’Lee Limbrick; and son-in-laws, Cecil Wayne Holloway and Phillip Craig Peterson.

Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 22, 2017 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Hayman Cemetery, Coldspring, Texas.
