Esther Lucille Gilbert

Esther Lucille Gilbert, age 89, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2011. She was born January 23, 1922 in Normangee, Texas to Tom Lee and Lula Elizabeth McKnight who preceded her in death along with her loving husband, Arnold Gilbert; sons; Davis Doyle Gilbert, Rayburn Gilbert; brother, Melvin McKnight; and her sister, Jewel Judy Davis. She leaves her memories to her sons, David Lee Gilbert and wife, Judy, Walter Lynn Gilbert and wife, Sheena; brothers, James McKnight and wife, Joann, Charles McKnight and wife, Judy, Leo McKnight and wife, Helen; sisters, Reba Vernell Coberley and husband, Jay, Martha Bell Harrel, Eunice Merle Hodges, Maureen McKnight; sister-in-law, Faye Buchanan; grandchildren, Amber Gloor and husband, Ray, Dennis Gilbert and wife, Cheryl, Stacey Faust and husband, Kenneth, Cindy Phillips, Laura Hunter and husband, Todd, Lee Gilbert and wife, Brandi, Lynsey Foreman and husband, Cody, Jamie Gilbert; great-grandchildren, Whitney Wilburn, Esther Gilbert, Micah Gilbert, Micah Yeoman, Arson Yeoman, Dylan Yeoman, Clair Hunter, Jonah Hunter, and Lilly Gilbert; numerous nieces, nephews and other cherished family members and faithful friends throughout the years. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2011, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Pastor Jimmy Charles and Pastor Charles Wigley will preside over funeral services being held Wednesday, March 2, 2011, 10:00 a.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Graveside services will be held Wednesday afternoon, 3:00 p.m. at Hopewell Cemetery, Normangee, Texas. Pallbearers include Dennis Gilbert, Lee Gilbert, Micah Gilbert, Cody Foreman, Todd Hunter, and Kenneth Faust.
