December 3, 1944 – June 20, 2016

After a long illness, Esther, beloved wife of Nicholas, went to be with The Lord.

Born to Baldemar and Juanita “Jane” Tristan in Toledo, Ohio, on December 3, 1944, Esther worked for years in the restaurant business, until ill health caused her retirement. Later she and her husband Nico moved to Shepherd where her husband has his lawn care business.

She and Nico loved to go dancing and would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary next month. Esther leaves daughters, Diana Logan and Dora Gorham Garcia and grandchildren, Amanda, Nico, Dekora and twins Cheyenna and Lakora. She and Nico also have a great grandson, ‘little’ Nico.

Esther also leaves siblings, David Tristan and Margaret Rodriguez. Her parents and brother, James Tristan preceded her in death. Her remains will be taken back to Ohio where many of her family live. Services are provided by Pace-Stancil.
