Emmett Dale Mcdanell

Emmett "Dale" McDanell, 64, of Crosby, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022 at his home with his loving wife and his precious daughter by his side. He was born October 4, 1958 in Monroe, Louisiana to his late parents, Emmett McDanell and Aleta Simmons McDanell.

Dale was the owner operator of Dale's Roofing & Repair, had lived in Crosby for the last 20 years after moving there from Channelview and enjoyed family, hanging with neighbors, four wheeling and visiting his" happy" place, Jamaica.

He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, James R. Brown and a sister, GeorgeAnn Brown.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Carah "Kay" McDanell; Daughter, Kristy McDanell; granddaughter, Cheyenne Jessie Nicole Ebert; brothers, J. M. Ramsey and his wife Reba and Ben Patterson and his wife Donna; sisters, Judy Walker and her husband Leonard, Mary Gaye Brown, Donna Fitzgerald and her husband Bob, Gloria Vincentini and her husband Mike, Mary Bridges and Penny Smith and her husband Steve; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Honoring the family as pallbearers will be members of his roofing crew including Arnulfo Aguilera, Feliziano Aguilera, Ismael Luria, Luis Lopez, Sabas Lopez and Luis Luna.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11 :00 a.m., Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Service will begin at 11 :00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Clay Duckworth officiating. Burial will follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton.
