Emma Inez Richardson

Emma Inez Richardson, age 90, passed away Friday, September 13, 2013 in Katy, Texas. She was born February 24, 1923 in Liberty, Texas to parents Jimmy and Vona E. Buckner. She was a former resident of Conroe, Texas and moved to Katy, Texas in 2009. Emma was a homemaker and a devoted mother of eight children. Family gatherings were made tastier with her wonderful dishes and delightful pies and cakes. When she wasn’t cooking, you would surely find her reading with her K-9 companion “Melvin” by her side. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert V. Richardson; sons, Vernon Richardson and wife Margie and Bobby Richardson; daughter, Elizabeth Lee and husband Tracy, sisters, Elsie Moser, and Katherine Cashmere; sons-in-law, Loyal Jones and Rohnny Clements. Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Clements, Donna Perkins, and Darline Jones; sons, Hiram Richardson and Lonnie Richardson; sisters, Edith Perry, Lillie Mae Everhart, Joyce Perry, and Vira Powell; granddaughters, Tammy Waites, Cynthia Narang, Lisa Perkins, Debbie Perkins, and Janice Faulkner; grandsons, Rohnny Clements, Christopher Jones, Larry Anders, Richard Anders, and Jason Perkins; eight great-grandchildren; niece, Pearly Smith and husband Ronnie; numerous other cherished family members and faithful friends. Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 17, 2013, 1:30 p.m. at Ryan Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
