Elsiemae G. Quinn Lucero, 88, of Dayton, died Sunday, October 20, 2013, at her residence. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at St. Anne’s Catholic Mission, with burial following at the Eastgate Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with rosary services at 7 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Elsiemae was born July 17, 1925 in Friendship, AR, to parents; Frank A. Quinn and Ethel B. Terry, and has been a lifelong resident of the Dayton area. She was a graduate of the Liberty High School class of 1942, a retired baker from Weingarten’s, member of St. Anne’s Catholic Mission and Catholic Daughters, and volunteered numerous years with the Girl Scouts. She also enjoyed baking, crocheting, knitting, and gardening. Mrs. Lucero was preceded in death by her father: Frank A. Quinn, mother: Ethel B. Terry Teten, husband of 27 years: Frank Lucero, son: Frank R. Lucero, daughter: Angela F. Hayes, and brothers: Albert D., James C., and Lonzo B. Quinn. She is survived by her daughters: Maria Hanel and husband Leroy of Dayton, Gertrude “Trudy†Brown of Dayton, Lee Halasah and husband Nick of Dayton, and Christina R. Lucero of Dayton, grandchildren: Robert, Dantha, Sunshine, Seba, Jason, Trampas, Audi, Andi, Shena, Albert, Miranda, and Frank, and numerous great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
