Elmer Vernon Moore, Jr.

Elmer Vernon Moore, Jr., age 72 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Friday, July 8, 2016. He was born May 2, 1944 in Houston, Texas to parents Elmer V. Moore and Saravivis Wilkinson Moore who he is preceded in death by.

Survivors include his wife, Darla Lilley Moore; sons, David Moore and wife Amanda, Alan Moore and wife Jamie, Travis Moore and Scott Moore; sisters, Sylvia Cox and husband Billy, Charmaine Moore, Kathy Cox and husband R.D., Yvette Smith and husband Cary; grandchild, Samantha Moore; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Sunday, July 10, 2016 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 11, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the Texas Baptist Men.
