Ella Mae Creel

Ella Mae Creel, age 87, of Romayor, Texas, passed away Friday, April 16, 2010. She was born in Egypt, Texas on October 10, 1922 to Bill and Violet Murphy who preceded her in death along with her loving husband, Harvey Creel; granddaughter, Terri Shannon Nutt; great-granddaughter, Stevee Taylor Powell; brothers, Harmon Murphy and Edmund Murphy; sister, Gladys Riffe; son-in-law, James Felts. Survivors include her sons, James and Norma Creel of Thicket, Texas, John and Marie Creek of Rye, Texas; daughters, Barbara and Leo Nutt of Romayor, Texas, Violet Felts of Shepherd, Texas; grandchildren, Gayla, Kathy, Timmy, Wesley, Valerie, Jennifer, Holly, Scott, Michael, Chuck, Steve, and Jamie; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other cherished family members and treasured friends throughout the years. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 17, 2010, 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Bro. Roland Coyle will preside over funeral services held Sunday, April 18, 2010, 2:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel with interment at Holly Grove Cemetery, Segno, Texas. Mrs. Creel’s grandsons and great-grandsons are proudly serving as pallbearers.
