Elizabeth E. “Libby” Smith Holder, 50, of Huffman, died Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at the Memorial Hermann NE Hospital in Humble. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Monday, August 8, 2011, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Libby was born December 24, 1960 in Pasadena, to parents; Leslie Joseph Smith and Ellen McMahan, and has resided in the Huffman area throughout her life. She was a graduate of the C. E. King High School and Sanford-Brown College, employed as a medical billing clerk, member of the First Baptist Church of Huffman, and enjoyed, singing, dancing, flowers, and crafts. Mrs. Holder was preceded in death by her husband: Lilon Holder, father: Leslie J. Smith, and sister: Rena Maher. She is survived by daughters: Amanda Ashworth and husband Paul of Crosby, Jeanie Johnson of Huffman, and Stormie Dotson of Huffman, son: Zach Johnson of Huffman, mother father: Ellen McMahan and Roger McLemore of Dayton, sister: Kellie Johnson and husband Brad of Huffman, grandchildren: Brent, Nathan, Christian, and Kinlee, and numerous other relatives, and friends.
