Edward Russell Peters, a retired pharmacist who leaves behind a legacy of kindness, passed away on May 21, 2024, in Houston. He was born on January 9, 1959 in Dayton.
He had lived in Houston for the last 20 years and was a previous longtime resident of Livingston.
Edward was a graduate of Liberty High School class of 1978 and went on to serve his country as a veteran of the US Navy. His commitment to his work as a pharmacist matched only by his love for reading, crocheting, and playing video games in his free time.
In Edward's journey through life, he touched the hearts of many, including his surviving family: children Diane Paddy, Andrea Tassin, Amanda Thornton and her husband Travis, Camilla De La Cerda and her husband Kristopher, and Jimmy Ross. He is also survived by his nephew John Wolf and husband Alex Rivera, along with numerous more nieces, nephews, family members, and friends who will cherish his memory forever.
He is preceded in death by his beloved parents Everette Peters and Evelyn Pippin Peters. Edward is also preceded by his brother Michael Lee Peters and sister Sandra Sue Peters.
Edward Russell Peters will be dearly missed but forever remembered for the love he shared with those around him. May he rest in peace knowing that he made a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
