Edward Bannister, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away at the age of 55 in Houston, Texas. Edward Bannister was born on June 18th, 1968 to parents Jesse Burch and Betty Smith Burch in Cleveland, Texas. Edward was a veteran, proudly serving his country in the United States Navy.
Edwards love of the outdoors was evident; in his free time he liked to hunt, fish, or metal detect. He was a true cowboy in every sense of the word, and you could oftentimes find him in the round pen breaking horses. Above all else, Edward was a family man, and spent as much time as he could with his family, especially his grandkids.
Edward is preceded in death by his dad Jesse Burch, as well as his sister Myra Morrow. He is survived by a large and loving family, including his sons, Tyler Bannister and wife Deserrae, Jacob Bannister, Edward Bannister Jr., Justin Bannister, Cowin Bannister, Ethan Ladewig, Zackary Ladewig, Damon DeVance; daughters, Ashley Bannister, Samantha Bannister, Lauren Barton, Katrina Bannister ; mother, Betty Burch; siblings, Aubry Burch, Albert Lee McCain, Edward McCain, Debra McDonald, Caroline Salinas, Peggy Sparks, Jesse Burch, Delbert Burch, Robert Burch, William Burch, Dan Burch, Tonya Burch; grandchildren, Brent Bannister, Paisley Bannister, Jaxson Bannister, Tyliee Bannister, Tayliee Bannister, Oaklynn Bannister, Alexandria Bannister, Lexi Bannister; as well as James and Cindy Rollins, who were like a second set of parents to him; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A visitation for Edward will be held on Thursday, May 9th from 5:00-8:00 pm in the Pace-Stancil Chapel in Cleveland, Texas.
