Edna Irene Driskill

Edna Irene Driskill, age 83, of New Caney, Texas, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012 in Humble, Texas. She was born February 20, 1929 in Kinder, Louisiana to parents Benjamin and Frances Rose Vige’ who preceded her in death along with her husband Lee Wayne Driskill. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 20, 2012, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2012 at Green Oak Bible Church, 1540 Green Oak Road, Kinder, Louisiana 70648 with interment following at Green Oak Cemetery, Kinder, Louisiana; Bro. Jerry Long officiating. Pallbearers include Ryan Driskill, William Dickson, Bubba Dyer, Russel Williams, Blake Lapaghia, and Harold Williams. Survivors include her daughters Darlene Somerville, Melinda Williams and husband Russel; son Benny Driskill and wife Brenda; grandchildren Christal Lapaghia and husband Johnny, Jeffery Rains, Shawn Somerville, Farrah Smethers and husband Larry, Ryan Driskill, and William Dickson; great-grandchildren Blake Lapaghia, Tanner Lapaghia, Tayte Somerville, Skyler Smethers, and Justin Smesthers; numerous nieces, nephews and other cherished family members and faithful friends throughout the years.
