Edith Marie Stilby

Edith Marie Stilby, age 90, of Cleveland, Texas, gracefully passed away Friday, June 3, 2011. She was born November 17, 1919 in Blooming Grove, Texas to parents, Alva Lee and Annie Garrison who preceded her in death along with her loving husband, Pete Stilby; her daughter, Rhoda Kay Matlock; brother, Alva Lloyd Garrison; and grandson, Robert Joel Matlock. Survivors include her daughters, Frances Overman, Leda Vandver and husband, Edward; grandchildren, Roxanne Pittenger and husband, Dale, Kelly Glos and husband, Tommy, Tracey Walters and husband, Conrad, Jeanette Overman, Robert Overman and wife, Ashlie, Sabrina Vandver, Pete Vandver and wife, Stephanie, Eric Vandver and wife, Stacy; great-grandchildren, Christopher Pittenger, Nicholas Pittenger, Austin Glos, Hannah Glos, Mandie Walters, Bradley Walters, Christopher Ponder, Julia Phillips, R.J. Overman, Abigail Overman, Lori Lewis, Brandon Scott, Sara Scott, Madeline Vandver, Ethan Vandver, Claire Vandver, Emily Vandver, Jaxson Vandver, sisters, Hazel Tarr, Geraldine Minefee, Sue Osburn and husband, Lloyd, Anna Lea Collier and husband, Ross; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other cherished family members and treasured friends beyond measure. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 4, 2011, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Bro. A. V. Walters and Bro. Robert Wilson will preside over funeral services being held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Pace-Stancil Chapel. A graveside service will be held at San Jacinto Cemetery, Houston, Texas. Pallbearers include Edward Vandver, Conrad Walters, Tommy Glos, Pete Vandver, Eric Vandver, and Daryn Nicholson; honorary pallbearers include Joe Spann, Austin Glos, Robert Overman, Bradley Walters, and Brandon Scott.
