WAKEFIELD Eddis Ray Wakefield, age 66, of Spring, Texas, passed away, Friday, February 17, 2012 at his residence. He was born July 14, 1945 in Channelview, Texas to parents Mildred Sleigh and Ida Noreen Wakefield who preceded him in death along with his loving wife Bonnie Whiddon Wakefield. Survivors include his daughters Christine Childers, Lisa Wakefield, Heather Russell, Michelle Dishough, Kimberly Wakefield; sons Dale Ray Wakefield, Eddis Ray Wakefield Jr., and Matthew Richardson; sisters Linda Hooper, Velda Guidry; brothers Mark Wakefield, Keith Shelton; grandchildren Meghan Williams, Sterling Williams, Gracie Dishough, Jessie Dishough, Emily Dishough, Naudia Wakefield; nephews Zack Guidy, Angel Jolie, Aaron Shelton, Daryl Wakefield, Lloyd Wakefield, Jimmy Wakefield, Armond Hooper, Michael Hooper; nieces, Stephanie Schubert, Ashley Wakefield, Marshalene Wortham, Moriah Shelton-Jimenez; and a host of faithful friends. Visitation will be held Monday, February 20, 2012, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2012, 10:00 a.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment following at Norris Cemetery, Liberty, Texas.
