Earnest W. “Junior†Landrum, Jr., 71, of Dayton, died Monday, November 18, 2013, at the San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 23, 2013, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial at a later date. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Junior was born August 20, 1942 in Laurel, MS, to parents; Earnest W. “Sharpâ€, Sr. and Vicie “Vickie†Holifield Landrum, and has been a lifelong resident of the Dayton area. He was a retired truck driver, member of the First Assembly of God Church, and former youth sports coach. He also enjoyed fishing, watching the Astros, playing guitar, and especially spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Landrum was preceded in death by his father: Sharp Landrum, mother: Vickie Holifield Landrum, son: Gary L. Landrum, son-in-law: Jimmy Baugh, and parents-in-law: Pearl and Dorothy Croft. He is survived by his wife of 53 years: Louise Croft Landrum of Dayton, daughter: Terry Baugh of Baytown, brothers: David Landrum and wife Laura of Cleveland and Paul Landrum and wife Nancy of Kenefick, sisters: Gloria Roper of Grangerland and Emilie Landrum of Killeen, grandchildren: Mellisa Wall and husband John, Kimberly Fregia and fiancé Stephen Wendel, Kristopher Landrum and wife Linda, Eric Landrum, Holly Landrum and fiancé John Burns, IV, Shelbie Baugh, and Kristianne Baugh, great-grandchildren: Kaylie, Hannah, Jacob, Preston, Jordyn, Blaine, Kyndal, and Jaidyn, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
