Earl “Ike” Keaton, 60, of Liberty, passed away Monday, September 5, 2016, in Liberty.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, September 9, 2016, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton.
Ike was born January 26, 1956 in Liberty, to parents; Floyd D. and Opal Fountain Keaton, and has been a lifelong resident of Liberty. He was a veteran of the US Air Force with service during Vietnam, a former oilfield worker, a retired truck driver, and a proficient player of many music instruments. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and visiting with family and friends.
Mr. Keaton was preceded in death by his parents and brother: James Lee Andrews. He is survived by his wife of 43 years: Debbie Kay Rawson Keaton of Liberty, sons: Robert E. Keaton of Liberty, Christopher L. Keaton of Liberty, Chad A. Keaton of Liberty, and Brad W. Keaton of Liberty, brother: Michael R. Keaton of Trinity, sisters: Crystal Williams and husband Michael of Tennessee and Cynthia Keaton Taylor and husband Lawson of Trinity, grandchildren: Megan Parsley, Miranda Keaton, Nicole Parsley, and Ariel Kelly, great-grandchild: Riley E. Allen, and numerous other relatives, and friends.
