Dyce Faye Franklin

Dyce Faye Franklin, age 84 of Coldspring, Texas, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016. She was born July 19, 1931 in Shreveport, Louisiana to parents James Kendrick and Lillie Laurie who preceded her in death along with her husband Bennie Franklin.

Dyce loved being a mother and grandmother. She had a good sense of humor and loved to work her fill-in puzzles, cook and feed her family.

Survivors include her sons, Jimmy and Pam Franklin, David and Tammy Franklin; sister, Ruby Hopson; grandchildren, Jeannie and Dwayne Westberry, Doris and Bennie Anderson, Marylnn Young, Bonnie Maxfield, David Franklin, Jr. and Nichole, Justin Franklin and Christopher Thompson; great-grandchildren, Heather and Justin Thompson, Angel and Lupe, Sara, Trey and Kaden, Danny Westberry, Travis and Maggie Anderson, Kimberly Anderson and Lucas Turner; numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 29, 2016 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas.
