Drake Kayden-Lee Nobles, 2, of Dayton, died Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at the Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 23, 2014, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dayton with services concluding thereafter. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Pallbearers will be Dylan Hill, Dylan Hoffman, Lane Jarvis, Jamarlon Glenn, Timothy Dugas, Sonny Dugas, Alvin Nelton, Jr., and Darrell Nobles. Honorary pallbearers will be Skye Ryland and Dylan Ryland. Drake was born December 1, 2011 in Baytown, a strong little boy making his way through many challenges. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing outdoors and watching Sponge Bob. Drake was preceded in death by his grandparents: Robert Drake, Emma Wagner Drake, and Helga Doris Malac, great-uncle: Vernon Westlee Jordan, and family friend: Nick Buras. He is survived by his mother: Emma Drake Hill and husband Dylan of Dayton, father: Kevin W. Nobles of Devers, sisters: Baylin D’Shae Buras of Dayton and Isabel Mariah Hill, grandparents: Sherren Korenek Drake of Dayton and Selina and Freddie Cougat of Devers, aunts and uncles: Rachael and Josh Ryland, Stacy and Joe Dugas, Lane Jarvis, Surina Harshaw, Tracy Laas, Alli Nelton, Alvin Nelton, Eric Dwayne Hill, and Darrell and Courtney Nobles, special friends: Cassandra Page, Chelsea Hubert, Ashlie Glenn, and Jack Jackson, and numerous cousins, other relatives, and friends.
