Dorothy Mae Hooks

Dorothy Mae Hooks, age 88 of Livingston, Texas, passed away Monday, August 29, 2016. She was born September 23, 1927 in Yorktown, Texas to parents Gus and Pauline Litton Lemke who she is preceded in death by.

Survivors include her husband, Ross Hooks, Jr.; sons, Gary Hooks and Michael Hooks; daughter, Susan Benson and husband Rick; brother, Charles Lemke; grandchild, Sean Walker; great-grandchildren, Paloma, Sage and Hadley; nephew, Johnny; nieces, Theresa and husband Tommy and Cathy; great-niece, Mirion; numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Services will follow starting at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at 1:45 p.m., Houston National Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
