Dorothy Louise Bobalik, 81, of Dayton passed away Sunday, July 4, 2010. She was born July 12, 1928 in Sheldon, Texas to parents: Frank Bobalik, Jr. and Elizabeth Antoinette Vrana Bobalik. She was a longtime resident of Highlands and worked for Southwestern Bell as a supervivor for over 40 years. Miss Bobalik enjoyed gardening, traveling and making videos of her trips. She moved to Etoile after retiring and had lived in Dayton for the past 5 years. Graveside services for Miss Bobalik will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 8, 2010 at Chapel of the Pines Cemetery in Crosby under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Dayton. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother and brother: Frank Bobalik, III.  She is survived by her brothers and sisters: Angie Zadrapa and husband Gene of Highlands, Frances Collins and husband J.D. of Etoile, Joyce Hosea of Highlands, Mary McCartney of Pflugerville, Carolyn White and husband Terry of Highlands, Bobby Bobalik and wife Glenda of Kingsport, Tennessee, and Diane Cornelius and husband Hugh of Dayton; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
