Dorothy Leo Mccray

Dorothy Leo McCray, age 80 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016. She was born January 9, 1936 in Leveland, Texas to parents Samuel L. Potts and Thelma McKinney who preceded her in death along with her son, Ricky Fuller; sister, Lynda Smith; and brother, Charles Potts.

Survivors include her husband, Elbert Jewel “E. J.” McCray; daughters, Loreasa Hoyt, Rose Dodson and Pam McDonough; brother, Ronald Hyde; thirty grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dorothy was a dedicated wife and mother. She was married 40 years and attended church at Christian Faith Tabernacle. Her hobbies include sewing, cooking, reading, bowling and quilting. Her grandchildren affectionately called her NeNe. Her favorite book was the Bible.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 2, 2016 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Christian Faith Tabernacle, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Allphin Cemetery, Midway, Texas.
