Dorothy Irene Bullock Racca

Dorothy Irene Bullock Racca, 89, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, July, 23, 2016, at the Cleveland Healthcare Center in Cleveland.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at the Cleveland Memorial Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Cleveland.

Dorothy was born June 2, 1927 in Eldridge, Texas the daughter of the late W.G. and Bessie Redding Bullock, and a resident of the Cleveland area for 23 years. She enjoyed reading, preparing meals for each occasion, spending time with her family and church family. Dorothy’s ministry at the church included preparing and sending cards and letters for all occasions. She was an encourager to everyone, and was cherished by all who knew her.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents as well as three brothers; Henry George Bullock, William Jennings Bryan Bullock, and Marvin Hugh Bullock, and six sisters; Cora Jane Pickett, Josephine Teeler, Bertha Inez Owens, Lottie Irene Smith, Augusta Elizabeth Bullock, and Miriam Campbell. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons; Jerry Allen, Allan Allen and wife Peggy of Cleveland, Tim Allen and wife Jeana of Cuero; ten grandchildren; Tanya Allred and husband Chuck, Jerry Allen, Le’Shannon Juneau, David Allen, Darcy George, Joshua Allen, Shanena Allen, Jacob Allen, Leah Sprinkle and husband Curtis, and Timothy Allen. In addition, she leaves twenty-one great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
