Dorothy Bernice Burks, age 59 of Onalaska, Texas, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015. She was born June 22, 1955 in Harris County, Texas to parents Willis Oliver Settle and Edna Bernice Settle who preceded her in death along with her sister, Ruth. Survivors include her daughter, Wendy Dykes Owens; son, Jason Charles Shirley; sisters, Velma Ruth Thompson, Kathy Auzston, Sandy McClain, and Christine Hughes; brother, Oliver Wayne Settle; grandchildren, Cora Shirley and David Shirley; nephews, Kevin Wayne Settle, Rustie Auzston, and David Auzston; nieces, Susan McClain, Kim McClain, Kara McClain, Kelly McClain, and Brandi Hoard.
