Doris Marie Nelson

Doris Marie Nelson, age 92 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2016. She was born February 26, 1924 in Livingston, Texas to parents Hiram C. Barfield and Lizzie May Barfield who preceded her in death along with her husband, Jack Nelson; son, Richard Nelson; four brothers and one sister.

Survivors include her son, Jay Nelson; grandchildren, Shannon Nelson, Sean Nelson and wife Wanda, Heather Nelson and Luke Nelson; brother, Dale Barfield and wife Doris; great-grandchildren, Cortney and husband Garrett, Meagan, Sarah, Ethan and Samantha; numerous other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 10, 2016 at Peebles Cemetery, Goodrich, Texas.
