Doris Sue Butler, age 84 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018. She was born February 17, 1934 in Manning, Texas to parents James and Lillie Mae Guinn who preceded her in death along with her daughter, Doris Jean Williamson; brothers, James Guinn, Roy Guinn, Louis Guinn and Lloyd Guinn; and grandchild, Lloyd Wayne Williamson, Jr.
Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Ken Butler; son, Lloyd “Bubba” Wayne Williamson and wife Shannon; step-sons, Kevin Butler and wife Geni, Curtis Butler and wife Lisa; daughter, Linda Rowell and husband Roy; grandchildren, Melissia Garrett and husband Joe, Dan Kirchner, Jason Usher and wife Ginger, Charlie Kirchner, Sherry Kirchner, Kelsie Bethea, Cody Daniel Butler and wife Shea, Misty Nichol Burton and husband Billy, Cameron Tyler Butler and Coleton Butler; 4 great-grandchildren, 15 great great-grandchildren, numerous other relatives and friends.
Doris was a member of the Cleveland Lions Club District 2-S2 for 19 years. She enjoyed playing chicken foot with her best friends and loved her birthday group.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 23, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cleveland Senior Citizen Center.
