Doris Ann Gladden

Gladden Doris Ann Gladden, age 78 of Coldspring, Texas, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014. She was born August 23, 1935, in Alice, Texas, to parents, Jefferson D. Mayhall and Jewel Isabell Giese. Mrs. Gladden enjoyed attending family reunions, making crafts and watching football. She was also loved church. In 1953 she graduated from Milby High School, Houston, Texas then married the love of her life, Noah Gladden, Jr. She is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Noah Gladden; son, Wayne Gladden; daughter, Christy Gladden; sister, Patricia Stewart; grandchildren, Amanda Everitt, Sandra Whitten, Christopher Gladden, Sunni Wingate, and Cody Gladden; great grand-children, Breanna and Mayci Whitten and Cora Gladden; nephew, Kenny Zito; nieces, Teri, Sandra, Robin and Cathy; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 26, 2014, 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Coldspring, Texas.
