Donald Ray Wallace, 71, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023 in Dayton. He was born March 30, 1951 in Liberty to his late parents, Thomas Henry Wallace and Audra Tharpe Wallace.
Donald lived in the Dayton/Liberty area most of his life and was a very charismatic man. He was a retired truck driver and enjoyed spending time in his retirement years playing dominoes and cards. One of his biggest enjoyments was raising his dogs that he treated as his own kids.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Jamie Wallace and a sister, Janis Stimits.
Survivors include his daughter, Donna Cook and her companion Robert Buckner; grandchildren, Shalee Ionescu and her husband, Alex, Keera Benavides and her husband, John, Charissa Jones and her husband, Mike and Stephan Wilson and his wife Amanda; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Brayden, Adelina, Ellie Jane, Maverick, Lincoln, Kennedy, Addison and Emma; brothers, Joe Wallace, Sr. and Thomas Reed Wallace and his wife, Donna along with numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m.
