Donald Ray Sims

Donald Ray Sims, age 70 and a resident of Splendora, Texas, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013 in Humble, Texas. He was born in Benhur, Texas in 1942 to parents Sam S. and Ruby E. Sims who preceded him in death along with Donald Wayne Sims and Robert Lee Freeman. Survivors include his loving wife of 30 years Paula Sims; daughters Kathy Billingsley and Kimberly Williams; son James Freeman; sisters Mary Moore of Waco, Texas and Helen Brewer of Elgin, Texas; brother James Sims of Ladson, South Carolina; grandchildren Breana Freeman, John Billingsley Jr., Kenneth Billingsley, Nicole Billingsley, and Michael Williams; great-grandchildren Mikayla Williams, Johnathan Jeffcoat, Steven Jeffcoat, Jacob Hawkins, Patrick Hawkins, Gabrel, and Makenzie; other survivors are Donna Allen, Tony Watkins and Lolita Bynum; numerous nieces, nephews and other cherished family members and treasured friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 03, 2013, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. There will be no service, visitation only.
