Donald Ray Graves, 78, of Dayton, died Monday, April 27, 2015, at the San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 30, 2015, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Thursday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Donald was born December 30, 1936 in Dayton, to parents; Ralph Clarence, Sr. and Sophie Gajdosik Graves, and has been a lifelong resident of Dayton. He was a retired boilermaker and enjoyed fishing, gardening, and mechanics. Mr. Graves was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Pat Graves, brother: Ralph C. Graves, Jr., and sister: Frances Jean Mayer. He is survived by his brother: Joe Graves of Dayton, sister: Mary Griffin of Arkansas, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
