Donald Joe Greenlea, 56, of Dayton passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at home surrounded by his family. Donald was born August 1, 1961 in Hobbs, New Mexico to parents, Marvin Odell Greenlea and Betty Nell Vaughn Greenlea.
Services for Mr. Greenlea will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with interment follow at Palms Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday evening at Pace-Stancil. Serving as pallbearers are Shawn Gray, Graham Greenlea, Gerald “Boy” Kent, Garrett Greenlea, Todd Mackey and Albert Holman. Honorary pallbearers will be James Michael Fregia, Zack Roberts, Peyton Gray, Randy Stephens, Landen Holman, Lupe Cisneros, Thomas Roberts, Sylas “Cowboy” Holman, Deven “Porkchop” Holman, and Garrett “Little Red” Kent.
Donald had been a resident of Dayton for the past five and a half years after moving from Baytown. He had been an employee of Austin Industrial for over 28 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and riding motorcycles. Most of all he loved his family, especially the grandkids.
Donald was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Nell Lemmons; grandparents, Nola Greenlea, Hoyt Greenlea and Gladys Childers. He is survived by his wife of nine years, Anita Greenlea; his father Marvin Odell Greenlea; daughters, Shana Fregia, Savanna Holman, Lori Gray, and Brittanie Kent; sons, Shawn Gray, Gerald “Boy” Kent, Albert Holman, and James Michael Fregia; brothers, Bobby Greenlea, John Greenlea, and Jerry Lemmons; grandchildren, Zack, Carol Jo, Thomas, Peyton, Hannah, Haley, Landen, Ashia, Deven, Sylas “Cowboy”, Mary, Garrett “Little Red”, and Kyleigh; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends, also his best bud, Todd Mackey.
