Dewey Oscar Elliott

Dewey Oscar Elliott Jr., 91 years of age and a resident of The Woodlands, Texas for 27 years, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at his home. He was born November 14, 1921 in Conroe, Texas to parents Dewey Oscar Elliott Sr. and Eunice Mitcham Elliott who preceded him in death. Mr. Elliott was an Accountant by trade. He was a distinguished WWII Veteran of the United States Navy and with respectful gratitude for a life shared and now blessedly at rest, and with heartfelt praise in memory of Dewey Oscar Elliott Jr., he will be remembered. Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years Joyce V. Elliott; daughter Deborah Elliott; son Joel Elliott; brother Tommy Elliott and wife Margie; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other cherished family members and treasured friends throughout the years. Bro. Earl Holman will preside over funeral services being held Friday, March 1, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of The Woodlands, 11801 Grogan’s Mill Rd., The Woodlands, Texas 77380. Visitation will be held prior to the services starting at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will be held at Holly Grove Cemetery, Segno, Texas.
