Dewey Hobson Rose Jr., age 81, a resident of Coldspring, Texas, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012 in Humble, Texas. He was born December 12, 1930 at Rockdale, Texas to parents Dewey Hobson Rose Sr. and Rosa McCoy Rose who preceded him in death along with his first wife Ida Maude Rose; and his sisters Dorothy Touchstone, Dardenelle Touchstone and Susan Fowler. Survivors include his loving wife of 30 years Margaret Rose; daughters Becky Brumley and husband Clyde, Carleen Siry and husband Thomas, Teresa Siry and husband Charles, Susan Upshaw-Masters and husband Doug; sons Barney Rose and wife Joyce, Gilbert Rose and wife Cindy, Dewey Rose, Chris Sutton and wife Margaret; sister Mary Smith; grandchildren Brandon Brumley, Jason Brumley, Brandi Rose, Kelli Rose, Shannon Rose, Kacie Rose, Ida Sheree Rose, Brandi Abbott, Jennifer Parker, Dalton Masters, Shawn Masters, Anthony Upshaw, Robert Siry, Kevin Keen, Nickolas Siry, Tonya Siry, Derek Pemberton, Kristen Sutton, and Amanda Marion; twenty-two great-grandchildren; numerous and other cherished family member and treasured friends. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 08, 2012, 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. prior to service in the Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 08, 2012 in the Pace-Stancil Chapel.
