Dewey Glen Luman, age 85 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2016. He was born November 27, 1930 in Center, Texas to parents Elmer and Irene Luman who preceded him in death along with his daughter, Glenda Luman; grandson, Samuel Keen; and granddaughter, Meghan Stein.
Dewey served honorably in the U.S. Army and owned/operated Dewey’s Farm and Feed for 30+ years. He will be remembered by many as the hard working family man that always had great advice on gardening, animals and willing to go the extra mile. He could always be found in the garden or in the feed store with his guitar.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Patsy Luman; sons, Larry and wife Vickie, Bobby and wife Gayle, and Stephen; daughters, Sharon and husband Kim, Nancy and husband Craig; sixteen grandkids, twenty six great-grandkids, numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon - 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Services will follow starting at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Pace Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens, Cleveland, Texas.
