Dewey Clark, age 80 and a resident of Coldspring, Texas, passed away Monday, December 1, 2014. He was born June 15, 1934 in Mississippi to parents Dewey Clark and Odell Joyner; he is preceded in death by his mother, Odell Joyner Watson; and beloved dog, Auggie.
Survivors include his beloved wife of thirty five years, Dusky Ann Clark; daughters, Karen Allen and husband Bob, Anne Brandt, Paula Franklin and husband Bo; sons, William "Bill" McGraw and wife Tonya, Mark Clark and wife Kerry, Danny Clark and wife Joan; grandchildren, Dawson Franklin, Kayla Franklin Looney and husband Jacob, Richard Brandt and wife Traci, Ryan Brandt and wife Susie, Matthew Brandt and wife Christina, Bill McGraw and wife Hayley, Carey McGraw, Sara McGraw Holub and husband Bryan, Kari Minton Cann, Benjamin Allen, and Robyn McDonald; numerous great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
Dewey was retired from the Air force for 25 years as a master sergeant air traffic controller. He also was a member of the Coldspring United Methodist Church and the Corvette Club of Livingston. His favorite hobbies were fishing, sailing, and spending time with the grandkids.
Reverend David Green will preside over funeral services held 10:00 a.m., Thursday December 4, 2014 at Coldspring United Methodist Church, Coldspring, Texas. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Coldspring, Texas.
