Dennis Stewart Marmon Jr., age 25, of Cleveland (San Jacinto County), Texas, passed away at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center on June 15, 2010. Dennis was born July 11, 1984 in Conroe, Texas to parents, Dennis Stewart Marmon Sr. and Kelly Elizabeth Marmon. Rev. Bill Newton Sr. presided over funeral services held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 19, 2010, Pace-Stancil Chapel, Coldspring, Texas with interment at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens, Cleveland, Texas. Pallbearers include Van Clement, Lacey Holmon, Ted Stearns, Joshua Elliott, Eric Caauwe, Michael Doran, Jeremy Hardin, Bill Cloud and Shawn Cloud. Survivors include his loving parents; Dennis & Kelly Marmon Sr.; fiancé, Amanda Curtis; brother, Specialist Dewayne Lacey Holmon, U.S. Army; sister, Jamie JoAnn Marmon; grandparents, Denis G. and Dona M. Ellis, Sandra J. Lilley; uncles, Jay Ellis; aunts, Tami Lilley, Jerri Davis, and Jody Ellis; nephews, Shawn Cloud and Dylan Cloud; niece, Isabel Frazier; special cousins, Melisa Harden and Mamie Lamas and a host of friends beyond measure.
